The acclaimed pianist Albert Mamriev rose to international prominence in 2008 when he became the first pianist to perform Franz Liszt's complete piano transcriptions of Richard Wagner’s operas at the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth, Germany. Critics and audiences were captivated by his radiant tone, emotional intensity, and masterful interpretation.

His debut performance earned high praise from the renowned critic Frank Piontek, who highlighted Mamriev’s ability to bring Liszt’s paraphrased Wagnerian themes to life with both virtuosity and deep understanding. Following a 165 – concert world tour featuring these transcriptions, Mamriev recorded the repertoire with “Neue Sterne” Records to wide critical acclaim.

In Addition to his expertise in classical repertoire, Mamriev is a passionate advocate for contemporary music. He has premiered works by Israeli composers, including Ami Maayani’s piano concerto with Beijing Symphony Orchestra and Gil Shohat’s solo piano compositions at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. For the 2023-2024 season, Mamriev performed with the Shanghai Philharmonic, San Remo Symphony, and at international festivals in France, Bulgaria, South Africa, Italy, and Germany.
